Process Overview

1. Enquiry & Information Gathering

2. Document Preparation
We prepare your Limited Licence affidavit, employer or director affidavit, court application, and supporting documents.Â
3. Police & Filing
We take care of the formalities, filing your application with the District Court and serving it on the police. We work directly with the police to move things forward and resolve any concerns.
4. Judicial Consideration
Once police consent is obtained, your application goes to a Judge. In most cases, no court appearance is required and the decision is made efficiently 'on the papers'.
5. Back on the Road
Once approved, take your court order to your local licensing agent and apply through Waka Kotahi NZTA for your physical Limited Licence. You'll be back on the road legally.
